Rest In Peace, Rodeo Red.
Rodeo Red showed up on our doorstep on June 1, 2011 with a group of horses seized by the county.
He wasn't in terrible shape yet, but a little thin.
He wasn't with us a week. He was adopted during our adoption days three days after he came.
A 27-year-old red roan Quarter Horse, this is no small guy, he stands about 16.1 hands high.
And he is kid broke.
He's gone to his new forever home with Amy.
After just a few short months, suddenly everything changed. He died suddenly in February 2012.
His last few months were filled with love and care. He knew he was safe and wanted, and for that we thank Amy and her family.
