Rescued: Pally

February 2018

Pally is a Palomino Mustang mare who we believe to be foaled in (approximately) 2014.

As of February 2018, she has been with us for about nine months. She was from a wild herd off of a reservation in New Mexico.

Pally came to us from the Peabody Kill Pen, where she was destined for slaughter. Someone paid her bail but could not keep her, so she came to us.

Although she has gentled quite a bit over the last nine months, she is still learning to trust.

We are working on halter breaking her at this time. She does love to eat and is quite food motivated. She has never threatened any of us.

When she came to us, she had the foal Pistol at her side

Pistol has since been halter broke and adopted. Pally needs a forever home that can spend time teaching her to trust her humans.
