Jeffery was an owner surrender. He is currently putting on weight at our facility

Jeffery is a reported former barrel horse.

A neighbor convinced the owner to sign him over so he could be placed with Hope. The neighbor was concerned he would continue to loose weight and struggle this winter. The family appeared unable to properly care for him.

Jeffery does have a bump on his back leg. We have not noticed that it effects him in any way.
