Arena Lights

Our arena lights are up and running! We want to thank our anonymous donor who purchased over $5000.00 worth of equipment to light up our riding/training arena. This will enable us to host charity barrel races in the near future as well as provide a rental facility for patrons wanting to train in a full sized arena. If you would like to book a time, please visit our Contact Us page to email us!

Looking forward, we have established fees for the use of our training arena.

You may rent the arena to train your horses for the following prices per day:

No lights-$10 for first horse you bring, $5 for each additional horse you bring.

With lights-$20 for first horse you bring, $15 for each additional horse you bring.

Or establish a 30 day membership for those horses you have in training!

$100 for one person up to four horses you bring or $125 for a family or person with five horses to bring.

Times are negotiable Monday through Sunday when no events are scheduled. Email us through our visit our Contact Us page to email us! to book your time now!

We Are A GFAS Verified Facility

Humane and responsible care of the animals has been confirmed by on an onsite visit by a trained inspector. In addition, the sanctuary meets the definition of a true sanctuary: the facility has nonprofit status, all required licenses and permits, does not engage in commercial trade (with some exceptions allowed such as the purchase of animals who might otherwise end up in slaughter), allows no or restricted contact with the public, only inpidual welfare-centric research is allowed, and no intentional breeding of animals occurs, with sound practices in place to prevent propagation.

Hope in the Valley Equine Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc.

is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)3 corporation. It was founded by Ande Armstrong in an effort to rescue and rehabilitate horses in Sedgwick County, KS and surrounding communities. The rescue has been developed to provide care for horses that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, unwanted or are slaughter bound. Our hope is that they someday will be able to go to permanent, loving homes.

Hope in the Valley operates totally on tax-deductible contributions.

Our goal for each horse is to heal them physically and emotionally. We do have some permanent equine but really aim to adopt out as many as possible.

We are run 100% by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, visit our Volunteer page for more information!

If you are interested in helping us with a tax-deductible donation of money or items, please visit our Donations page to see what we need most at this time.
