Welcome To The Hope Herd

The Intake Process

Equine from many walks of life find their way through the gates of Hope. No matter their backgrounds, every equine is treated with great respect and care, providing them the best chance at a “better life”.

When donkeys, mules, or horses arrive they are evaluated for health and then provided the best care possible from treatment to vaccinations. Equally important is giving the time for them to decompress and realize they are in a safe place.

The equine listed below are currently in transition from just joining the herd to completing final levels of evaluation in order to prepare them for their new lives. The time between in-take, evaluations, and final preparations for adoption can take from weeks to months or in extreme cases more than a year. Please note that the equine below are not currently available for adoption.
